Meet the Staff
Brandi Shirey, Executive Director
Brandi is a Carroll County native and a graduate of Central High School. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of West Georgia. Brandi currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce Business Development Committee and volunteers as an organizer for the annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser to benefit the Carroll County Soup Kitchen.
Hilda has been an Advocacy Coordinator with Carroll County CASA since 2015. Hilda was born and raised in Douglas County. She graduated from Lithia Springs High School and attended the University of West Georgia. She has three children. She is a former CASA volunteer with Carroll County CASA and received the Miles K. Busby Hero to Children award in 2005. She has worked in the social services field since 2003.
Andrea has been an Advocacy Coordinator with Carroll County CASA since 2015. Andrea was born and raised in Carroll County. She graduated from Bowdon High School and from the University of West Georgia. She has two children. She previously worked in social services for five years.
Briana has been an Advocacy Coordinator with Carroll County CASA since 2017. Briana Evans was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated form Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Lithonia, Georgia and attended University of West Georgia where she graduated with bachelors’ degree in psychology and a minor in criminology. In 2017 Briana graduated from the University of West Georgia with a masters in criminology. She is a previous volunteer/intern with Carroll County CASA.
